St Mark's is a broad friendly church where the Gospel is preached in a biblical context and the sacraments are faithfully administered. The vision of the church is prayerfully based on Isaiah 35. We open wide the doors of the church to all who will enter in where they will find a welcome in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Rector : Reverend Tim Cockell
Tim was born in Cheltenham but grew up in Reading. On leaving school he served an apprenticeship with the Ministry of Defence. He also worked for an electronics firm and for a company producing under-sea valves for oil pipelines. Tim trained for ordination at the Queen's College, Birmingham, which is where he met wife Nell who is a permanent Deacon. They both served their Titles in the Bracknell Team Ministry, and Tim has spent the last six years as a Team Vicar in the Rugby Team Ministry. His hobbies include aircraft spotting and modelling, computing and reading Terry Pratchett.
With grateful thanks for all she did for us, we said farewell to Reverend Linda Blay, our Associate Minister, on Easter Day. Our thoughts and prayers go with her to the Leicestershire Diocese where she has been appointed Rector of Fenn Lanes Benefice.

This church community on the nearby Overslade Estate was established in 1995 with our neighbours St Matthew's Church.
