Music Group

At our monthly Family and Parade service we take a break from the norm by having a Music Group lead our worship. Our style is lively and assured, but we can be quiet and meditative too, playing a variety of mainly modern worship songs, from Tim Hughes and Matt Redman to John Bell and songs from Iona.

The group is reasonably new and growing continually, in confidence, ability and numbers. At present we comprise drums, bass guitar, keyboard, clarinet, violin & flute, as well as two vocalists, however we are seeing new faces and new instrumentalists all the time. Our singing is ably assisted each month by the Junior Choir.

The Parade Music Group usually meets to practice the Saturday morning before the Sunday we play. We also have ‘jam sessions’ every two to three months, where we have more time to develop our sound and play new songs for the first time.
